01Overview

About the project

Cloud development services on the IoT platform IoTControl were part of the author's work at INDUST Systems (02/2022 – 06/2022), aimed at improving efficiency and reducing energy consumption on production lines.

IoT Control is INDUST Systems' monitoring and notification platform for industrial environments. IoT devices send their measurements to the platform, where they are stored as time series and presented in live dashboards, charts and SCADA-style views of the installation.

Users define scenarios with conditions on the measurements (for example low, medium or high temperature states) and are notified when they trigger. Pages can be composed from tiles, charts and SCADA views, and access is controlled per user role.

The platform is a TypeScript system: a NestJS back end with separate services for data ingestion and notification detection, a time-series database, and an Angular web application, all packaged with Docker.
